It is not truly football season until fans begin fighting in the stands, and Chiefs and Bears supporters got right to the action.

Preseason results are technically meaningless, but adding alcohol and crazed fan bases always adds another level to them.

Inside Arrowhead Stadium over the weekend was supposed to be the final time players could impress coaches so they can stay on the final roster.

At one point during the contest, the attention turned to the stands as many Bears players began to watch from the sidelines as fans began to brawl.

A Chicago Bears fan was on the receiving end of a beating from a Chiefs fan that left him bloodied and walking away.

Chiefs & Bears Both Have Expectations

The NFL offseason is typically a time for hope. Every team makes new hires and signs new players so they can improve on the previous season.

Sophomore No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams is expected to take a huge step forward under new head coach Ben Johnson while the defense keeps climbing to elite status.

Last year, the team finished with a 5-12 season and faced issues with the offensive line. Many moves have experts thinking they can fight for a playoff spot.

Once again, the Kansas City Chiefs are looking to win a lot of games this season. They are still the team to beat in the AFC, and they still have coach Andy Reid and quarterback Patrick Mahomes.

They went to a third straight Super Bowl last season, a first for a franchise in NFL history, but they enter 2025 with a chip on their shoulder.

Their embarrassing 40-22 Super Bowl LIX loss to the Philadelphia Eagles will serve as a reminder of the work that must be done to keep their dynasty alive.

The Chiefs, who traded Skyy Moore to the San Francisco 49ers with a flip of 2027 sixth and seventh-round picks, will have to wait and see how many games Rashee Rice will be suspended for to know how their season will play out.
