Prince Harry has officially spoken out to refute misleading reports surrounding his recent reunion with King Charles III. More than two weeks after the meeting — their first in 19 months — the Duke of Sussex dismissed claims that he felt like a “visitor” rather than a family member.

A spokesperson for Harry told People magazine: “Reports about the Duke’s view of the tone of the meeting are completely false. The quotes attributed to him are fabricated, seemingly by sources intent on sabotaging any reconciliation between father and son.”

The spokesperson also confirmed that Harry presented his father with a framed photograph, but denied speculation that it was a picture of Harry and Meghan Markle. “For the sake of clarity, we can confirm a photograph was indeed handed over. However, it was not an image of the Duke and Duchess,” the representative added.

The meeting came just months after Harry expressed hope of rebuilding his relationship with his family. Still, the issue of security — particularly the couple’s stripped protection while in the U.K. — remains a major sticking point. Speaking to the BBC in May, Harry emphasized: “There have been so many disagreements over the past five years. The matter concerning human life and safety is the crux of it, and it is the only thing that remains.”

While the reunion has sparked hope for renewed father-son ties within the royal family, it is clear that deep challenges remain unresolved.
