Prince Harry Launches Yet Another Attack on the Royal Family

Just weeks after a controversial BBC News interview in which he claimed to have given up “fighting” with the monarchy, Prince Harry has reignited his public feud with King Charles and the Royal Family—this time, over the issue of security.

In a sharply worded statement published on Sussex.com, Harry lashed out at the UK’s Royal and VIP Executive Committee (RAVEC), which decided to strip him of government-backed security measures. The Prince called the court’s decision a “validation” of biased process, accusing senior royals and officials of treating him unfairly compared to other high-profile individuals at risk.

“For years, RAVEC hasn’t applied the mandatory procedures in my case—rules that are meant to protect all prominent and at-risk individuals,” Harry wrote, pointedly noting that the committee includes top royals, Home Office officials, and London police chiefs.

Although Harry claims to have left the legal fight behind following his court defeat, he revealed that he had written to the UK Home Secretary urging a thorough review of his situation and RAVEC’s protocols.

The Duke of Sussex made it clear that he blames the Royal Family for failing to protect him. In Harry’s words, “My family remain the sole representatives for me at RAVEC and could have requested a review of my case at any time. The only conclusion is that they chose not to—knowing the outcome would prove my security should never have been taken away in the first place.”

Digging deeper, Harry recounted how security issues first arose in 2017, when a “secret committee” determined Meghan Markle would not receive royal protection after formally joining the family—a move Harry claims he overturned, only to face repeated setbacks in subsequent years. As he lost the state-provided security he’d always known, Harry insists his family faced credible threats of violence from extremists, especially during visits to the UK.

He went on to lament that “the very institutions that exploited my mother, publicly lobbied for our security to be revoked, and fueled hatred against me, my wife, and even our children, while shielding those in power.”

While the Royal Family has remained silent on Harry’s latest accusations, insiders told The Sun that King Charles is deeply disappointed by his son’s repeated refusal to respect the sovereign’s apolitical role.

Meanwhile, many in the British public have grown weary of the Sussexes’ grievances—especially after judges sided against Harry in multiple court cases. Commentary across social media and in the press has been harsh: “No one owes the Sussexes anything. They should enjoy their freedom and their ability to earn a living. The courts have ruled—it’s time to move on.”

Despite the backlash, Harry remains adamant that his chief concern is the safety of his family and his desire for his children to experience the best of his homeland. Yet, with every new statement, the rift between Harry and the House of Windsor seems only to deepen—and public sympathy in Britain appears to be running out.
