After one of the most talked-about Knockout Rounds of The Voice Season 28, Team Bublé’s Max Cooper III has finally spoken out and fans can’t stop reacting.

The 23-year-old Kansas City native was eliminated after a powerful performance of Djo’s “End of Beginning,” going head-to-head with teammate Max Chambers, who advanced thanks to coach Michael Bublé’s new Mic Drop pick. Despite his exit, Cooper’s musicality and emotional depth left a lasting impression on both coaches and fans alike.

During the episode, Snoop Dogg called Cooper “an exceptional vocalist,” while Niall Horan praised him for being “so different than anyone else on this show.” Even Bublé himself couldn’t hide his admiration, saying, “Your level of musicianship, your understanding, your intonation, and the genuine enjoyment of what you’re doing… I think the world needs to see more.”

But when Bublé used the Mic Drop to advance Chambers, confusion rippled across the fandom — many believing Cooper deserved the slot. “So robbed,” one viewer wrote. “Was shocked nobody stole you!” another added.

Hours later, Cooper broke his silence with a heartfelt Instagram post that struck an emotional chord with thousands of fans.

“That’s all folks! Wow. What an incredible journey. I made the most amazing friends, I was inspired by so many, and I am so happy that I have been able to inspire others,” he wrote. “@nbcthevoice let me show the real me on this amazing stage and for that I am grateful. I’m also so thankful for my new friend @michaelbuble and all of the help and advice he has given me… Never in a million years would I have imagined myself working with someone I have looked up to my whole life.”

He went on to thank his Kansas City supporters, family, and God — before signing off with a promise:

“Be on the lookout y’all because I’m not done yet! I have music on all platforms… and I’ll be playing live shows soon.”

The comment section quickly turned into a celebration of love and encouragement:
