Hollywood Legal Drama Explodes: Blake Lively, Justin Baldoni, and the Battle Over “It Ends With Us”
The latest twist in the Hollywood legal saga between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni has social media and industry insiders buzzing with fresh controversy, explosive filings, and a growing list of celebrity names dragged into the fray.
Journalist Sash Floor, host of Flossom Talk, found herself unexpectedly named in Blake Lively’s amended court filings, which now include a sprawling list of people allegedly possessing knowledge about the case. The list isn’t just long—it’s star-studded, featuring names like Emily Baldoni (Justin Baldoni’s wife), Taylor Swift, Ryan Reynolds, his mother, and even Gigi Hadid and Hugh Jackman. According to Lively’s team, these individuals have insight into allegations of sexual harassment, discrimination, retaliation, and defamation surrounding the production of “It Ends With Us.”

Taylor Swift’s inclusion is especially eyebrow-raising, as she reportedly wants no part in the escalating dispute. Even Ryan Reynolds and his family have been listed, despite his recent withdrawal from involvement. Sash Floor herself was added simply for posting a video that painted Lively as rude—a move she calls “illogical” and evidence that the list is more about optics than substance.
The filings coincide with a wave of media coverage seemingly orchestrated by Lively’s PR team. After a judge dismissed Baldoni’s case, Lively’s camp quickly spun the news as a decisive victory, feeding headlines to outlets like TMZ and Rolling Stone. However, legal experts and insiders argue the real story is more nuanced: Baldoni’s case was dismissed, but the judge has yet to rule on Lively’s legal fees, meaning appeals are still possible. Critics accuse Lively of running a smear campaign against Baldoni, manipulating both the media narrative and the legal process.
Lively isn’t slowing down. She’s now seeking further sanctions against Melissa Nathan, Baldoni’s crisis management expert, for allegedly redacting too much information in documents. Lively’s team claims the real evidence is hidden behind these redactions, echoing accusations about deleted messages on Signal—another point of contention in the case.
The mounting motions for sanctions, which could cost defendants hundreds of thousands of dollars, have led some to question whether the process is becoming abusive. The judge’s patience, it seems, is wearing thin.
The drama took another turn with a new complaint from Jennifer Ael, Baldoni’s publicist, who alleges that Stephanie Jones (her former employer) confiscated her phone and handed it to Lively’s team, who then gave it to The New York Times. Ael claims Jones had access to her phone and personal data for over a month before it was legally subpoenaed—and that this was coordinated by Lively’s and Ryan Reynolds’ company, Vanzan.
If Ael’s claims are substantiated, they could seriously damage the reputations of Lively, Reynolds, and Jones. The alleged scheme to gain access to personal communications paints a picture of behind-the-scenes manipulation that could haunt everyone involved.
With each new filing, Blake Lively’s reputation suffers further blows. Accusations of targeting women, dragging celebrities into the dispute, and orchestrating legal and media campaigns have left industry watchers stunned. Ryan Reynolds, as CEO of the implicated company, is also at risk.
As Sash Floor notes, “Who would want to work with someone scheming behind the scenes to bury a co-worker?” The fallout from these revelations could reshape relationships and reputations across Hollywood.
The legal drama surrounding “It Ends With Us” is far from over. More filings, explosive allegations, and celebrity involvement are expected in the coming weeks. For now, the industry—and the internet—waits to see who will come out on top in this high-stakes battle of reputation, power, and Hollywood intrigue.
