From Euthanasia List to Loving Home: The Heartwarming Rescue of Ruby

When one woman learned that a terrified pitbull mix was on the shelter’s euthanasia list, she knew she had to act fast. “Something terrible just happened,” she told her boyfriend over the phone. It’s believed that Ruby’s breed—a pitbull mix—was a major reason she was overlooked for adoption. “People just avoid those in the shelters,” her rescuer noted. But Ruby proved to be incredibly affectionate, sweet, and beautiful—a dog full of love who simply needed a chance.
