While walking along a village road, we stumbled upon her by pure chance. Under the scorching sun, with temperatures reaching 43°C, she was struggling to crawl forward, step by step, in search of food. Her long fur was matted with mud, her body painfully thin, and her face etched with exhaustion. An injury to one of her legs prevented her from standing, and after days of hunger, she was nearly too weak to move. Seeking relief, she hid behind a pile of bricks on the roadside, her eyes brimming with tears as she looked around helplessly for aid.

When we saw her, we immediately approached to check on her condition. We offered her some food and rushed her to the hospital, where she received immediate medical attention. The veterinarian was gentle and reassuring, cleaning her body thoroughly and carefully trimming away the muddy fur. With each clump of hair that fell, her frail frame became more apparent, along with small wounds scattered across her skin. She remained calm and obedient throughout, making the vet’s job much easier.

Once her tail was cleaned, a severe wound was revealed. The vet diagnosed her with a serious case of hemorrhoids, which made it difficult and painful for her to move her hind legs. Every movement brought discomfort and fatigue. Upon this discovery, the vet advised us to transfer her to a larger hospital for more specialized care.

At the new hospital, she was taken straight to the emergency room, where her wounds were cleaned and she was settled into a private room with all the necessities—a new shirt, a warm bed, and plenty of comfort. That evening, after a meal and some rest, her health stabilized enough for a short walk in the park before returning home for dinner.

The next day, after a late breakfast and a quick shopping trip for supplies, we returned to the hospital for further examinations. Tests revealed that she was suffering from malnutrition and chronic constipation due to an unhealthy diet. X-rays also showed several foreign objects in her intestines—things she had likely eaten out of desperation to survive. These had caused severe enteritis and colitis, the root of her illness.

With a clear understanding of her condition, the vet prescribed medication and provided detailed instructions for her care at home. We thanked the doctor, brought her home, and continued her treatment diligently. On the way back, we stopped at a park where she enjoyed playing, trying to run despite her difficulties. Her joy was infectious, and not even her struggles could dampen her spirit.

After a week, her health had stabilized. The small wounds on her skin had nearly disappeared, her hemorrhoids improved, and she could walk more easily. We stayed by her side, taking her out to play whenever possible. She loved these outings, especially to the nearby park where she met new friends and charmed everyone with her friendly, sociable nature.

After each walk, we carefully cleaned her body and wounds, helping them to heal faster. She was calm and relaxed during every bath, standing still and trusting us completely. After drying her fur, it was time for dinner and a well-deserved rest.

Two weeks later, her wounds had healed rapidly, her weight had increased noticeably, and her new fur was growing in thick and healthy. She moved with greater confidence, enjoying time with her friends. The park became her second home, a place of joy and belonging.

A month into her recovery, she was 80% healed. Her weight was now at a safe level, her fur long and shiny, and her spirit bright and confident. Her hemorrhoids were almost fully recovered, and weekly hospital checkups confirmed she was on track for a complete recovery—something that amazed even the vet.

Finally, after many hard days, she began living a normal life like any other dog. She now has a loving family, a warm bed, good food, beautiful clothes, and many friends. Most importantly, she is surrounded by love and protection.

Everything is wonderful for her now. We hope she will continue to recover and enjoy her new life filled with happiness. May even greater things come her way in the future. We are grateful for God’s protection during her time of need, and for the chance to witness her transformation from despair to hope.
