The Vault: Monday Morning, The Forrester Mansion
The air in the Forrester mansion’s living room was thick with a toxic mix of tension, resentment, and barely contained rage. Sunlight struggled to penetrate the heavy drapes, casting the room in dramatic shadows befitting the drama about to unfold. On one side stood Luna Nozawa, clutching a purse, her face a mask of smug entitlement. Beside her, though standing a respectful distance away, was her fiercely loyal mother, Li Finnegan.
Across the sprawling, antique coffee table, the Spencer/Forrester faction stood unified and grim. Will Spencer, the reluctant father, looked like a man trapped in a waking nightmare, his hand instinctively seeking out the smaller, steady hand of his girlfriend, Electra Forrester. Bill Spencer and Katie Logan stood like Roman sentinels, prepared to fight for their son’s future. Ridge and Brooke, also present for moral support, looked on with weary concern.
The reason for the gathering was simple: Luna, who had drugged Will and claimed the resulting one-night stand had made her pregnant, was now required by the court—and the frantic Spencer family—to undergo a final, definitive medical confirmation. Dr. Bridget Forrester, looking clinical and professional in a white lab coat, carried the file that held the fate of all four young adults.
“This is ridiculous,” Luna sniffed, smoothing her dress. “You all act like I enjoy being here. Will and I created a miracle, a new Spencer heir, and you’re treating me like a criminal. I passed the at-home tests. The blood tests were positive for HCG. Why are we dragging this out?”
Will squeezed Electra’s hand, his voice low and tight. “Because, Luna, we don’t trust you. You lied about your involvement with Will for weeks. We need definitive proof before we are shackled to your manipulation forever.”
“Enough,” Bill growled, silencing both of them. His gaze was fixed on Bridget. “Bridget. We’re ready. Let’s end this.”
Bridget nodded gravely, opening the file. “I ran a complete analysis from the recent blood work and ultrasound. I double-checked the HCG levels and, most critically, the fetal heart-rate monitoring data. I have my final conclusions, and they are… unprecedented.”
Luna smirked, ready for her vindication. “Tell them, Doctor. Tell them this baby is a Spencer and I’m going to be a part of their miserable family forever.”
Bridget looked directly at Bill, her expression softening with an odd kind of relief. “Mr. Spencer, there’s been a massive deception at play here. The early tests Luna provided were—I believe—faked or manipulated, and the later tests… simply don’t match up to a viable pregnancy.”
The room went completely still.
“What are you talking about?” Luna’s voice was suddenly shrill, laced with panic.
Bridget took a deep, steadying breath. “Luna, the ultrasound showed no viable fetus. Your latest HCG levels have tanked completely, not in a way consistent with early miscarriage, but in a way consistent with never having been pregnant at all. Luna, you are not pregnant.”

Part II: The Shockwave and the Scramble
The silence that followed was so profound that Electra thought she could hear the pounding of her own blood. Will released her hand and stumbled back, his face draining of color as a wave of overwhelming, disbelieving relief washed over him.
“What?” Will whispered, the word barely audible.
“A miracle,” Bill breathed, the tension melting from his powerful frame. He looked at Katie, who was openly weeping tears of pure, unadulterated joy. “She’s not pregnant! We’re free! Will, you’re free!”
But the celebration was cut short by Luna’s screeching denial.
“No! That’s a lie! You tampered with the results, Bridget! You all hate me! Electra put you up to this! I felt the morning sickness! I bought the maternity clothes! I know I’m carrying Will’s baby!” Luna scrambled toward Bridget, but Li caught her by the arm, pulling her back.
“Control yourself, Luna!” Li hissed, though her own eyes were wide with shock and fear.
“It’s true, Luna,” Bridget stated firmly, closing the file. “The evidence is irrefutable. You are not pregnant. I believe you may have even faked the initial positive tests.”
Suddenly, Electra felt a strange, lurching sensation in her stomach. It wasn’t the nauseous dread she’d felt for weeks, watching Will slip further away. It was a real, physical wave of nausea, so sharp it made her gasp and clutch her abdomen.
“Electra, are you okay?” Will rushed to her side, mistaking her discomfort for distress over Luna’s drama.
“I… I don’t know,” Electra muttered, trying to fight the sudden, dizzying wave. She hadn’t been feeling quite right for a week, attributing it to the stress of the Luna situation. She’d been tired, moody, and had a strange aversion to Ridge’s new, expensive cologne.
Luna, desperate and watching her entire carefully constructed future crumble, suddenly latched onto Electra’s distress.
“She’s faking it! See? She’s trying to make this about her! She’s jealous I’m having Will’s baby!” Luna shrieked, pointing a trembling finger.
“You’re not having anyone’s baby, Luna,” Ridge interjected, his voice cold. “Bridget said so.”
“But Electra isn’t well,” Brooke murmured, moving toward her stepdaughter.
Bridget’s clinical mind immediately took over, cutting through the emotional chaos. She noted Electra’s pallor, the way she was holding herself, and the sharp onset of the symptom.
“Electra, have you experienced any unusual symptoms lately?” Bridget asked, quickly moving to her side.
Electra swallowed hard, still battling the dizziness. “A little… tired. And I thought I had a stomach bug last week. And… my period is late. But I thought it was the stress.”
Li Finnegan, standing back and observing, frowned, her eyes calculating. She knew Luna had been obsessed, but a complete phantom pregnancy was new, even for her troubled daughter. The pieces of Luna’s deception were messy. Li recalled a frantic trip to a secondary lab Luna had made weeks ago, claiming she needed a second opinion on the HCG results. Li hadn’t paid attention to the details, just the result: “positive.”
Bridget, however, was already moving. “It’s highly unlikely, but just in case, Electra, I want to run a quick test. The one thing we know for sure is that Luna is not pregnant, but if you’re experiencing a late cycle and nausea, we need to rule out everything.”
The tension pivoted instantly. The relief over Luna vanished, replaced by a fresh, sickening dread.
Part III: The Ultimate Twist
Bridget returned quickly from the master bathroom, a small, digital stick in her hand. The glow of the screen felt blindingly bright in the dim room.
“It’s a high-sensitivity digital test,” Bridget explained, her voice quick and clinical. “It registers HCG immediately and confirms. I need a minute to read the result.”
Will was shaking his head, rubbing his temples. “No. No way. We were careful. After… after everything with Luna, we were hyper-vigilant.”
Electra looked at Will, then down at the floor, suddenly understanding the deeper horror of the situation. “We were careful, Will. But the night Luna… the night she tricked you… I ran to you the next night. We were emotional, desperate, and we weren’t thinking. We didn’t use protection that time, Will. We were just trying to connect after the shock.”
The color left Will’s face again. He remembered that night—a haze of relief that Luna had been exposed, followed by a reckless, urgent need for Electra.
Bridget looked up, her expression a perfect mix of medical neutrality and personal astonishment.
“The test is confirmed,” she announced. Her eyes landed on Will, then Electra, then Bill and Katie. “Electra… you are pregnant. Roughly seven weeks along.”
The room erupted.
“NO!” Luna screamed, the sound raw and inhuman. “It’s mine! That baby is mine! She stole it! She planned this! She’s trying to steal my destiny!”
Bill and Katie stood frozen, absorbing the shock. The potential Spencer grandchild, the one they had feared would be born into Luna’s poisonous orbit, was safe. It was coming to the family, through the woman they loved.
Will stumbled forward, tears finally streaming down his face, but these were tears of utter disbelief and profound hope. He ignored Luna’s raving entirely and reached for Electra.
“Electra. We… we’re having a baby?”
Electra, feeling the sharp reality of the nausea and the digital screen’s confirmation, dissolved into quiet sobs. “I guess… I guess we are, Will.”
Li Finnegan, however, had the ultimate realization. She snatched the discarded medical file from the table, scanning the forms. “The lab! The blood work! You submitted to the same lab, both of you! And Luna was obsessed with getting a ‘second opinion’ right after her first fake test!” Li’s eyes widened in horror and dawning understanding. “Luna, you didn’t just fake the pregnancy. When you realized you weren’t pregnant and had to deliver the proof to the court, you switched the samples. You took Electra’s routine blood work and tried to pass it off as your own confirmation! Only Bridget’s comprehensive testing caught the irregularity!”
Luna’s silence was the only confession needed. She stood trembling, the full magnitude of her failed manipulation crashing down on her.
Part IV: Justice and Destiny
Bill Spencer was the first to regain his composure, stepping forward like a protective lion. He looked at Luna, his gaze hard as steel.
“You drugged my son. You manipulated him. You faked a pregnancy. And then you tried to use Electra’s actual medical samples to solidify your lies. This isn’t just about a baby, Luna. This is criminal behavior.”
He pulled out his phone, already dialing. “Deputy Chief Baker. I have a situation at the Forrester mansion. Yes, the Luna Nozawa case. Drop the paternity concerns—we have a definitive answer. I need a police presence for an arrest. Fraud, medical identity theft, and attempted coercion.”
As the sirens wailed faintly in the distance, Luna made a last, desperate lunge for the door, but Ridge and Brooke quickly blocked her path. She slumped into a chair, finally broken, burying her face in her hands as Li watched, devastated.
Katie rushed to Electra and Will, pulling them both into a tight, tearful embrace. “The universe always rights itself. This is what was meant to be. Our grandchild is safe. Our Will and Electra get their happy ending.”
Electra looked up at Will, placing her hand gently over her lower abdomen. The initial shock was giving way to a warm, burgeoning sense of wonder. “I’m not the gentle, safe one, Will. I’m carrying our child. And I’m ready for the chaos and the future.”
Will kissed her forehead, then knelt before her, holding her hands. “You are my destiny, Electra. You were always my destiny. This baby… this is the real beginning of our forever.”
Later that afternoon, after Luna had been escorted away in handcuffs and the room was finally quiet, Bill stood with Will on the terrace, overlooking Los Angeles.
“Son,” Bill said, putting a hand on Will’s shoulder. “I was prepared to spend a fortune and years fighting Luna for custody of a child conceived in deception. Now, you have a baby, with the woman you love, conceived in an honest mistake made in a moment of emotional vulnerability. That, Will, is a true Spencer beginning.”
Will smiled, watching Electra talk animatedly with Katie and Brooke inside. He no longer saw the past. He saw a diamond ring—not on Hope’s hand, but soon, perhaps, on Electra’s. He saw a lifetime of family, and a destiny that had, with a shocking twist of fate, corrected itself.
The city of Los Angeles had seen many pregnancy scandals, but none quite like this. Luna’s desperate lie had been exposed, not by a failed test, but by the burgeoning, undeniable truth of Electra’s unexpected, miraculous pregnancy. The Forrester-Spencer family drama had officially traded a villain for a victorious new heir, securing a future that was Bold, Beautiful, and utterly unanticipated.
