ELON Musk’s mom Maye has posed in a swimsuit for the cover of Sports Illustrated.

Maye, 74, is one of four women gracing this year’s Swimsuit Issue, joining Grammy-winning singer Ciara, fashion entrepreneur Yumi Nu and Kim Kardashian.
Maye was photographed by Yu Tsai in Belize wearing various swimsuits, including a floral Bahía María one-piece, a cutout suit by OYE, and a Zimmermann two-piece.

The cover photo features a snap of Maye in a ruffled orange and beige swimsuit by Maygel Coronel, a gold beaded bracelet by Viktoria Hayman, and an elegant pair of palm tree earrings to match the tropical background.
“At 74, Maye continues to work every day to inspire those around her,” SI Swimsuit editor in chief MJ Day said.

“It feels great,” Maye told the New York Post after seeing the cover for the first time.
“I’ve been modeling for 50 years, and I wasn’t considered a ‘swimsuit model, but now Sports Illustrated has let me know that they have a wide diversity of swimsuit models. I think it’s wonderful.

“I think woman of all ages… they’re scared of aging, and they’re scared they won’t look good in a swimsuit,” Maye added.
“So now you know that I’m setting an example so women can walk freely in swimsuits and not worry about it

Maya will be the oldest model to ever be featured on the magazine’s cover.
