With violent crime dominating headlines, Rubin defended Trump’s controversial federal intervention in cities plagued by violence, blaming decades of Democratic leadership for chronic problems. “If you want the feds out, clean up your city. If you stop letting your citizens kill each other and Trump still steps in, I’ll be the first to complain,” he said.

Rubin also addressed the left’s permissive attitude toward political violence, especially on college campuses. He cited alarming statistics: one in three students now say violence is sometimes acceptable to stop a speaker. “We must relentlessly defend free speech and prove our ideas are better. Silencing through violence is a dangerous game,” he warned.

On Australia’s political climate, Rubin expressed affection for the people and culture but concern over the federal government’s leftward drift. “I have no doubt this is just a leftist cycle.
