“At 61, Keanu Reeves Finally Opens Up About Alexandra Grant and Their Future Together”
After decades of silence surrounding his private life, beloved actor Keanu Reeves, now 61, has finally shared intimate details about his relationship with artist Alexandra Grant — and their long-awaited future plans as a couple.
Known for his humility, generosity, and fiercely private nature, Reeves surprised fans during a rare appearance on the podcast “Quiet Reflections” this week, where he candidly discussed his journey with Grant and the life they’ve quietly built together over the past decade.
“I’ve always kept a low profile when it comes to love,” Reeves said with a quiet smile. “But at this point in my life, I feel like it’s okay to share a little more about what matters most to me — and that’s Alexandra.”
Reeves and Grant, a visual artist and philanthropist, first went public with their relationship in 2019, though their friendship and creative collaboration began years earlier. Now, Reeves has revealed that the two have been living together since 2022 in a secluded home outside of Los Angeles.
“We’ve built something peaceful and honest,” he said. “It’s not flashy, but it’s real. We read together, paint, take long walks… there’s a quiet rhythm to our life that I’ve never had before.”
For the first time, Reeves also admitted that marriage may be in the cards.
“I never thought I’d say this,” he laughed, “but yes, we’ve talked about it. Neither of us needs a ceremony to prove our love, but lately we’ve been thinking — maybe a small gathering, something personal. We’ll see.”
More surprisingly, the actor revealed that he and Grant have been working on a joint art project — a fusion of poetry, sculpture, and film — which they plan to unveil in 2026.
“It’s a love story, in a way,” Reeves explained. “Not just ours, but a broader meditation on connection, loss, and healing. Alexandra’s vision is extraordinary, and I’m honored to be part of it.”
He also spoke of their mutual desire to step back from the spotlight in coming years.
“I love acting. It’s been my life’s work. But I want to make room for silence, for creation without deadlines. Alexandra helps me see the world differently — slower, more intentionally. I want more of that.”
When asked what he’s learned most from their relationship, Reeves paused before answering.
“That love doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful. It can be quiet. It can grow slowly. And it can last — if you respect it.”
Fans and friends have expressed joy at Reeves’ openness, with many taking to social media to celebrate the actor’s rare vulnerability.
For a man who once seemed destined to walk alone, Keanu Reeves now stands firmly beside a partner he calls his “home.”
