FULL-PANIC in NYC! Mamdani’s Free-Bus SCAM and Trump Attack Just BLEW UP in His Face!!!
New York City is in chaos this week as what was supposed to be a bold progressive initiative has exploded into full-blown political mayhem. Assemblyman Zohran Mamdani’s much-hyped “Free Bus for All” plan—which he claimed would revolutionize public transportation—has suddenly turned into a scandal of epic proportions. Add to that a fiery war of words with former President Donald Trump, and you’ve got the makings of a political meltdown no one saw coming.
At first, Mamdani’s proposal sounded like a populist dream: free buses for every New Yorker, funded by new taxes on the city’s wealthiest residents. He promised it would cut traffic, help low-income workers, and “liberate” commuters from the tyranny of MetroCard swipes. But within days of rolling out the details, the plan started to unravel.
Leaked documents from the City Comptroller’s office revealed that the initiative could cost nearly $800 million a year, with no clear funding source to sustain it. Even worse, a whistleblower from within Mamdani’s campaign claimed that several consulting firms hired to “study” the plan were secretly connected to his donors. “It’s not a free bus plan—it’s a free-money-for-friends plan,” the whistleblower told local reporters.

As the controversy grew, Mamdani tried to pivot, accusing critics of being part of a “right-wing smear campaign.” But then came the Trump factor. At a rally in Staten Island, Donald Trump seized on the story, mocking Mamdani as “the socialist from Queens who can’t count.” The former president thundered, “New York doesn’t need free buses—it needs free common sense!” The crowd roared in approval.
The next morning, Trump posted a video on Truth Social, claiming that Mamdani’s office had “funneled taxpayer funds” to politically connected allies. Though the claim was unverified, it spread like wildfire online. Within hours, hashtags like #BusGate and #MamdaniScam were trending across social media.
Cornered by reporters outside City Hall, Mamdani tried to defend himself but only made things worse. “We are reimagining transportation,” he insisted, before abruptly walking away when asked whether his consultants were under investigation. The footage went viral, with commentators calling it “the most awkward retreat since the MTA delayed service in a snowstorm.”

Meanwhile, city transit workers are furious. Union leaders say the plan never included proper consultation with drivers or maintenance crews. “He’s out here talking about free buses, but he didn’t even talk to the people who run them,” one MTA official said. “This whole thing’s a scam dressed up as socialism.”
By evening, even some of Mamdani’s progressive allies were distancing themselves. “We believe in affordable transit,” said one council member, “but this plan was built on fantasy math.”
As pressure mounts, Mamdani’s once-promising campaign is teetering on the edge. Political analysts say his feud with Trump only poured gasoline on the fire—turning a local transit debate into a national spectacle. “He tried to make himself the face of the working class,” one columnist wrote. “Now he’s the face of political overreach.”
With investigations looming, donors fleeing, and social media mocking his every move, one thing is certain: Mamdani’s “free bus” ride has officially gone off the rails.
