😠THE SCARS OF TRAGEDY: WILL’S DESPERATE PRAYER ðŸ˜
Chapter 1: The Guilt That Binds
The corner office of Spencer Publications, typically a fortress of untouchable power, felt like a cage to Will Spencer. The panoramic view of Los Angeles, sparkling and indifferent outside the glass walls, only magnified the cold, hollow space in his chest.
Two months. Two months since Luna Nozzo had been convicted. Her breakdown, fueled by the devastating loss of her baby and the agonizing sight of Will’s eventual marriage to Electra, had culminated in an act of volatile destruction—a fiery, desperate sabotage of the Forrester Creations main server, wiping out a season’s worth of designs and nearly injuring Thomas Forrester. The court, seeing only premeditated malice and ignoring the underlying psychological trauma, had handed down a harsh sentence.
Will knew the truth: his own fear, his indecision, and his failure to choose Luna when she needed him most had pushed her to the brink. He saw Luna’s descent as a direct consequence of his weakness. Now, as Electra tirelessly planned their future and their honeymoon, Will could only see the stone walls of the correctional facility holding the woman he had irrevocably broken.
He was waiting for his father, Bill Spencer, the only man in the city with the ruthlessness, resources, and sheer audacity to fix a tragedy of this magnitude.
The double doors of the office swung open. Bill strode in, shedding his impeccably tailored jacket, his demeanor as sharp and unyielding as the edge of a newly minted coin.
“Will. You canceled three meetings. This better be about a hostile takeover or something equally profitable.” Bill didn’t look up, settling behind his colossal desk. “If this is about that Forrester disaster, the settlement checks are cut. Case closed.”
“It’s not about the settlement, Dad,” Will said, his voice low, sounding alien even to his own ears. “It’s about Luna.”
Bill looked up slowly, his icy composure forming a protective layer over his face. “Luna Nozzo? That destructive girl is where she belongs, Will. In a place where she can’t hurt Forrester, Electra, or, more importantly, you. I had my team work overtime to make sure she was dealt with. It’s done.”
“It’s not done!” Will exploded, slamming his palms onto the desk. “She’s not dealt with, she’s destroyed! And it’s my fault!”

Chapter 2: The Heart-Stopping Plea
Bill leaned back, his eyes narrowing. He had seen Will worried, stressed, and even angry, but he had never seen him utterly unraveled. This wasn’t the strong, controlled Spencer heir. This was a man dissolving in front of him.
“You had nothing to do with her choices, Will,” Bill asserted, his voice flat. “Luna is a grown woman responsible for her own crimes.”
“No, Dad, you don’t understand,” Will pleaded, his voice trembling uncontrollably. He walked around the desk, stopping right in front of his father. “She’s not a monster—she’s just broken! Please, save her before it’s too late!”
He fell to his knees on the Persian rug, a sight that instantly shattered Bill’s composure. Will Spencer, the golden boy, kneeling, begging.
“Dad,” Will choked out, gripping Bill’s pant leg, his gaze desperately fixed on his father’s face. “The stress of the pregnancy loss, the wedding, the feeling that she had lost her future, my child, all of it… it broke her. She wasn’t thinking clearly. She acted out of pure, raw, devastating pain. And I abandoned her to that pain! I chose the safer, easier path with Electra. I chose not to fight for her!”
Tears, hot and fast, finally escaped Will’s eyes, tracing clean paths down his cheeks. “I wake up every night seeing her face in the courtroom. She looked so lost, Dad. She looked like she was giving up on life. If she stays in there, she won’t survive. Please, you can do anything. You can buy the judge, you can bury the evidence, you can find a legal loophole—just save her! Save her life so I can live with mine!”
Bill stared down at his son, his breath catching in his throat. “Luna made her bed, Will. She chose this.”
Chapter 3: The Scars of Compassion
Bill’s mind raced. He saw not the desperate Will of today, but the reflection of his younger self—impulsive, passionate, and often making choices that ruined lives. He remembered his own reckless pursuits, the times he had nearly lost Liam, the battles he had fought over Brooke. Will’s heartbreak was a mirror reflecting Bill’s own past sins.
He reached down and hauled Will off the floor, gripping his shoulders tightly. “Stand up, son. Get control of yourself. This is pathetic.”
Yet, the anger in Bill’s voice was purely for show, a desperate attempt to shore up the fortress that was his own heart. He looked into Will’s ravaged eyes and saw the breaking point of the Spencer heir.
“I won’t let you fall apart over some woman, Will,” Bill growled, guiding Will to the leather sofa.
“She’s not ‘some woman’! She was going to be the mother of my child! And I let her go! If you don’t help her, I swear, I will ruin everything I have to make amends!” Will swore, his voice raw with finality.
Bill walked back to his desk, running a hand over his chin. Luna is a criminal. But Will… Will is my son. And he’s right—she’s paying for her crime, but Will is paying a much steeper price in guilt.
“What exactly do you expect me to do?” Bill asked, the coldness in his tone finally giving way to reluctant curiosity. “I cannot magically erase a court conviction. The judge, the jury, the evidence of that server room fire—it’s all public record.”
“I don’t know!” Will cried, slamming his fist on the coffee table. “But you’re Dollar Bill Spencer! You make things happen! Get her an appeal! Dig up dirt on the judge! Frame someone else for the sabotage! Get her into a cushy psychiatric ward instead of general population! Anything! Just get her out of those four walls before her light goes out forever!”
Chapter 4: The Price of Redemption
Bill closed his eyes, the weight of his son’s desperation an almost impossible burden. Framing someone else—it was the old Bill, the reckless Bill. The new, slightly more legitimate Bill knew the risk was astronomical, but the sight of his broken son was a motivator more powerful than any potential scandal.
He looked at the newspaper still lying on his desk—a smiling picture of Will and Electra announcing a large donation to a local charity. That life, that stability, was what Bill had fought for. But it was built on a lie of happiness.
Bill picked up the phone, dialing a number he hadn’t used in months—the number of a top-tier, morally flexible defense attorney known for achieving the impossible.
“Listen to me, Will,” Bill said, his eyes hard, his voice quiet and dangerous. “If I do this, there are conditions. You will owe me. Not just money, but absolute, unwavering loyalty. This isn’t about saving Luna; this is about saving you. And if I get her out, you will never, ever do anything to jeopardize Electra, your marriage, or the Spencer name. Do you understand the price?”
Will lunged forward, grabbing his father’s hand. “Anything, Dad! I swear! I’ll do anything you ask! Just get my Luna back.”
Bill nodded grimly, speaking into the phone with the calculated authority of a man who moved mountains.
“Get me everything you have on the Luna Nozzo case. I want a complete psychological profile, the police reports, and the full transcript of the trial. I want a new appeal filed within 48 hours, based on prosecutorial misconduct and diminished capacity. Make it happen. And make it disappear.”
Bill hung up the phone and looked at Will, who was now weeping with relief. The Spencer patriarch hadn’t given an inch of true compassion, but he had given an oath of power.
“The game changes now, Will,” Bill stated, his voice ringing with renewed steel. “But I warn you: the next time Luna breaks something, it’ll be your fault, and I won’t be around to pick up the pieces.”
Bill Spencer had chosen his son’s peace over perfect justice, setting in motion a chain of events that would undoubtedly drag Luna out of her prison cell and straight back into the heart of the Spencer-Forrester conflict. The tears of regret had been paid, but the full price of redemption was just beginning to be calculated.
