Adult Man’s Scheme to Enroll in High School Lands Him in Prison

A warrant has been issued for South Florida rapper Kodak Black, whose real name is Bill Capri, for violating the conditions of his pre-trial release. His original arrest occurred last year when he was pulled over for driving with an expired license and tags. Police also found substances on him at the time. Instead of being sent to jail, Kodak was given a chance to enter a rehab program as part of his pre-trial release. However, he reportedly violated the terms again, prompting prosecutors to push for immediate jail time, claiming he hasn’t done anything productive while free.

Surveillance and social media content from recent months show Kodak looking strung out and behaving erratically—including dancing on his kitchen counter, appearing disoriented on Kai Cenat’s livestream, and even being filmed eating chicken in the middle of a street. His condition has alarmed fans and fellow artists alike. Rap veteran Boosie Badazz pointed out the risks Kodak may face if incarcerated, especially given his previous collaboration with Tekashi 6ix9ine, who is widely disliked in prison communities.

Kodak’s problems are not new—he has been arrested on similar charges before. In February 2023, he admitted to being under the influence during a livestream and made statements that essentially incriminated him before trial. After turning himself in, he was sent to the Legacy Rehabilitation Facility. There, he made significant improvements—becoming healthier, more focused, and seemingly getting his life back on track. Upon release, he dropped a hit single titled “Walk” that brought him back into the spotlight.

Unfortunately, the turnaround was short-lived. During a livestream with Kai Cenat, Kodak showed visible signs of being under the influence, later admitting on Instagram Live that he had relapsed. His social media presence deteriorated further as he spoke openly about waiting to die and feeling like he had never experienced true love. A viral tweet even criticized those around him—particularly the mothers of his children—for not helping him, saying they appeared to be waiting for his demise.

Numerous rappers and influencers, including Boonk, Wallow, and Gilly, have since spoken out with concern, offering advice and urging Kodak to get help—not only for himself, but for the sake of his five children and the people who look up to him. Kanye West also attempted to intervene, stating publicly that he was flying to Atlanta to help Kodak personally.

Despite a brief moment of clarity and apology—where Kodak publicly expressed remorse for his actions and the pain he’s caused others—the downward spiral has continued. He was recently seen at a Baltimore Ravens game, once again looking dazed and disconnected. The repeated behavior, live confessionals, and erratic public appearances are all now part of the growing evidence file against him.

As Kodak’s trial is now set for late 2025, the judge is expected to review everything that has transpired—including social media activity and drug test results. While some argue that he needs to be incarcerated to finally face consequences, others believe he still deserves a shot at long-term rehab. The question remains: Should Kodak Black be sent to prison, or does he still deserve another chance at recovery?
