Cardi B Testifies After Being Accused of Cutting and Spitting on Security Guard

What Really Happened That Day?

Tiara, a security officer, stood before the jury, recounting the events of a chaotic day at work that quickly spiraled out of control.

“Did you see any blood or skin under your fingernails after the incident?”
The attorney questioned her directly.
“No,” Tiara answered firmly. “There was no physical altercation for me to even see anything like that.”

She confirmed that none of her fingernails were brokenall ten were perfectly intact after the incident.

The Moment She Opened the Door

When Tiara opened the door to the scene, she saw Cardi backed into a corner, and Immani Ellis, the plaintiff, engaged in a heated argument with her.

“There was a lot of shouting, profanity—just a confrontation,” Tiara explained.
“Be this, be that… It was very hostile.”

Tiara’s Immediate Reaction

Seeing things escalate, Tiara immediately stepped in.

“I walked over and got between them, like, ‘Whoa. What’s going on? You’re at work—go back to your post.’”

At that point, Tiara didn’t even know she had a scratch on her forehead—she only found out later when a nurse pointed it out.

“Tiara, your forehead,” the nurse had said.

The Phone and the Confrontation

According to Tiara, Ellis had her phone up on her chest, appearing to record the situation. When Tiara asked her about it:

“Why are you recording me?”
Ellis replied casually,
“Oh, my bad.”

To Tiara, that sounded like an admission.

“If someone says ‘my bad’ when I call them out for recording, that means they were recording me. She had the phone pointed right at me.”

Tiara also recalled Ellis yelling:

“I don’t give a f— who you are!”
“This is my building!”

Those words, Tiara said, made her angry.

Did She Lose Control?

The attorney pressed further:

“When you get angry, do you sometimes black out and not realize what happens next?”

Tiara didn’t give a definitive yes or no, but her hesitation left room for possibility.

About the Argument

“You were yelling and screaming at each other, right?”
“Yes.”

“Is it possible your spit flew out while yelling and landed on Ellis?”

Tiara responded,

“I don’t think so… I don’t know. Maybe. I doubt it.”

Refusing to Leave

Later, Ellis asked Tiara to leave the building.

“You refused, right?”
“Correct,” Tiara said.

The Big Picture

Throughout her testimony, Tiara maintained that she wasn’t the aggressor and didn’t initiate any violence. She said she had no idea she had been scratched until later and strongly implied she was only trying to de-escalate a bad situation.

Despite the shouting, tension, and confusion, Tiara remained firm on one point:

“There was no physical altercation. Not on my part.”
