Disgruntled fans have accused the NFL refs of fixing games for the Chiefs for a while, but the conspiracy theory really took off during the 2024 season. The accusations about the refs helping Patrick Mahomes and company got so bad that NFL commissioner Roger Goodell had to shut down the speculation at Super Bowl 59 weekend.

Well, the officials aren’t escaping the accusations this evening. Some fans believe that the head official for tonight, Brad Rogers, and his crew are out to “rig” the game in favor of Mahomes and the visitors.

Specifically, it was noted by the internet detectives that Rogers was employed at Texas Tech during Mahomes’ college days, not to mention that Kansas City is 5-0 in games where he serves as the head referee.

Well, all we can say is that Rogers and the NFL refs will only avoid further “fixed” accusations if the Jaguars end up winning. Such is life in today’s social media era, where misinformation and bizarre conspiracy theories can spread rapidly.
