The Daughter Who Found Her Father Alive
The Daughter Who Found Her Father Alive

The grand ballroom was filled with sparkling lights, elegant decorations, and the laughter of wealthy guests. Business leaders, donors, and important figures gathered for the charity event of the year.
Near the entrance, a young girl named Sophie stood nervously beside her grandmother, Helena. She had never felt comfortable in places like this, but tonight she had no choice. Helena had brought her there, though she had warned her repeatedly to stay quiet and not cause any trouble.
Suddenly, Helena’s expression changed when she saw someone approaching.
Sophie looked confused as Helena grabbed her arm tightly.
“Why did you come here?” Helena whispered angrily.
Before Sophie could answer, Helena forcefully pulled her toward the ballroom doors, pushing her back in the direction of the exit.
“I told you never to come here,” Helena said coldly.
Sophie’s eyes filled with fear. She tried to hold back her tears, but the pain in her grandmother’s grip made her tremble.
At that moment, Nora, Sophie’s aunt, saw what was happening. She rushed over and immediately pulled Sophie away from Helena.
“Stop!” Nora shouted. “You don’t get to treat her like that.”
Helena glared at Nora but said nothing.
Across the ballroom, Roman had been greeting donors and thanking them for their support. He was surrounded by people, smiling politely and discussing the success of the event.
Then something caught his attention.
He noticed a frightened little girl standing near the entrance.
There was something about her face that made him stop.
Roman slowly walked toward them, his expression becoming more confused with every step.
When Sophie saw him, she froze.
Her eyes widened in disbelief.
She stared at the man standing in front of her, a man she had only known from old photographs and stories.
“Daddy…?” she whispered.
The entire world seemed to stop.
Roman’s face changed instantly.
Sophie’s voice shook as she continued.
“Grandma said you were dead.”
Roman suddenly froze.
For years, he had believed he had lost everything. He thought his family had moved on without him. He never imagined that his own daughter was standing right in front of him.
Nora looked from Roman to Helena, her face filled with shock.
“She told us your money stopped three years ago,” Nora said quietly.
Roman looked at Helena in disbelief.
“What are you talking about?”
Helena’s confident expression disappeared.
The woman who had controlled the story for years suddenly had no words.
She slowly began backing away, realizing the truth was finally coming out.
The room that had been filled with celebration became completely silent.
Roman looked at Sophie, his daughter, the child he thought he had lost forever.
And Sophie looked back at him, finally discovering that the father she had mourned was alive.
