Valentina was found lying helplessly in an abandoned house. Her condition was critical—she was frail, weak, and her eyes reflected deep sorrow. Whoever left her there had not only abandoned her physically but had also broken her spirit, leaving her to die alone.

When we discovered her, we rushed her to the clinic. The veterinarians examined Valentina but were unable to offer much hope. She was in shock, suffering from hypoglycemia and hypothermia, malnutrition, skin problems, and anemia. The sadness on her face was unmistakable.

Despite the doctors’ grim prognosis and their suggestion that we give up, we refused to surrender. We decided to stand by Valentina and fight for her life.

We provided her with every comfort: a soft bed, a heater, and warm blankets. We began treating her fur and prepared nutritious meals to help her recover. The cost of her care was high, and at first, her condition did not improve. In fact, she seemed to be getting worse, and hope began to fade.

But then, Valentina gave us a sign that she wanted to keep fighting. Slowly, she passed through the most dangerous phase. Her condition stabilized, and she began to gain weight. Soon, she was feeling better than before, able to stand again, and eating eagerly.

Valentina’s sweet, shy, and loving nature began to shine through. In just a few days, she will be ready to find a loving home where she will receive all the attention she deserves.

We love you, Valentina. May God bless you on your new journey.
