“I went to all the fan pages,” Musgrove said. “Some of the songs were rumored to exist, some were partially leaked.” He was thrilled to hear the recordings, as they had never been released to the public. On the tapes, Jackson can be heard discussing the writing and recording process. “I listened to these things and got goosebumps because no one had heard them before,” Musgrove said.
