We know why: The famous couple was unable to attend due to the Kansas City Chiefs’ training camp in Missouri, where the tight end was pictured on the same day.

Travis, 35, was seen on the field for training camp on Thursday, ahead of the NFL’s upcoming season, which begins in September.

The rigorous training event is currently taking place in at Missouri Western State University in St. Joseph, Mo.

Maguire, Ed Kelce’s longtime partner, died at the age of 74, and he took to Facebook on Saturday to share her obituary.

“She loved the beach—especially the shore—and had a deep affection for dogs.”

Ed’s girlfriend also “grew an unexpected love for football later in life, sharing many laughs and adventures with her beloved friend Ed Kelce and her loyal dog Butch.”

Little is known about Ed’s relationship with Maguire, though Ed once shared that while posing with the “Blank Space” singer, 35, for a photo, Maguire joked, “Hey, that’s my boyfriend.”
