Phaedra Parks expressed her excitement seeing Kandi Burruss honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award. She started the conversation by complimenting Kandi, saying, “Oh my gosh, you look so good. You look fantastic!” before transitioning into a discussion about their business and the upcoming season of The Real Housewives of Atlanta.
She described the new season as “fun, fierce, and full of foolishness,” teasing that while she herself isn’t causing chaos, there’s plenty of drama to watch. When asked about other cast members like Porsha and Shamea, Phaedra emphasized her neutrality, explaining she stays out of conflicts and prefers to let things work themselves out.

Reflecting on her long tenure in the Bravo universe, Phaedra shared how much she values her relationships across the franchise, calling it like a “sorority” where fights may happen but sisterhood prevails. She mentioned enjoying time with cast members from Salt Lake, New Jersey, and Atlanta, and said she doesn’t avoid drama but faces it head-on.
Regarding her relationship with Kandi, Phaedra acknowledged their ups and downs but emphasized she’s “a girl’s girl, not a hater.” She proudly noted that she had encouraged Kandi to join the Housewives franchise years ago, helping set the stage for her success. She feels that the award is also a reflection of the great television they created together.

When asked if Kandi should have mentioned her in her acceptance speech, Phaedra humbly stated that Kandi had already acknowledged her in her own way and that she wasn’t expecting any special recognition. She concluded with a heartfelt sentiment: “You’ve got to get your flowers while you can smell them.”
