The auction, held on June 26, featured not only Diana’s clothing but also memorabilia linked to Queen Elizabeth II and other key members of the British Royal Family. The star of the auction was a floral silk gown famously worn by Diana at several charity events and hospital visits. This dress set a new benchmark as the priciest piece in the collection. Other standout lots included the cream silk evening gown Diana wore to dinner in Saudi Arabia in 1986, which went under the hammer for an astonishing $455,000, and her favorite bright red nylon ski suit, which sold for $325,000.

One of Diana’s iconic sweatshirts far surpassed its estimate, selling for $221,000—more than ten times the anticipated price. Julien’s Auctions previously made headlines in 2023 by selling one of her evening dresses for a record $1.14 million, and, earlier this year, a pair of her shoes went for $390,000.
