The Rising Cost of War: Why Mounting Casualties Ar…
More than three years after Russia launched its full-scale invasion of Ukraine, the conflict has evolved into one of the most attritional wars of the twenty-first century. Territorial gains have become increasingly incremental, technological innovation has transformed the battlefield, and military operations are now measured as much by endurance as by maneuver.
