On November 13th, Billie Eilish took to Instagram to voice her thoughts on Elon Musk as reports surfaced that the Tesla CEO is approaching trillionaire status. The Associated Press noted that Musk recently won a shareholder vote, potentially allowing his stock to reach $1 trillion if certain expectations are met.

The 23-year-old singer shared slides from the My Voice My Choice account suggesting what Musk could do with such wealth, including ending world hunger, saving endangered species, and rebuilding Gaza. Alongside the posts, Billie added a blunt caption on a black background: “etc. Pathetic coward.”

This isn’t the first time Billie has critiqued the ultra-wealthy. Last month, while accepting the Music Innovator Award at the Wall Street Journal Innovator Awards, she emphasized the importance of using wealth for good. She announced plans to give away over $11 million from the profits of her Me Hard and Soft tour and reminded billionaires to help those in need, noting the world’s current struggles and the need for empathy.

During the ceremony, Mark Zuckerberg was reportedly in attendance, though he did not react to her remarks. As of November 14th, Zuckerberg ranks second on Forbes’ list of the world’s richest people, just behind Elon Musk.

Billie’s message highlights her growing advocacy for social responsibility and challenges the ultra-wealthy to use their resources for meaningful impact, reinforcing her voice not only as a music superstar but also as a socially conscious influencer.
