And Bruce Springsteen proved he had no intention of slowing down his lifestyle as he was spotted enjoying a sun-soaked holiday with wife Patti Scialfa in party capital Ibiza on Wednesday.

The rock legend, 67, and Patti, 64, were spotted enjoying a sun-soaked day on the beach, and were even joined by fellow rock legend Noel Gallagher, of former British hit band Oasis.

The rock legend looked tanned and relaxed in a crisp pale blue shirt and beige slacks, showing off a glimpse of his tanned chest beneath the open buttons.

Sporting suave sunglasses, he smiled happily as he made his way through the sand barefoot.

He was joined by his spouse of 26 years, who looked chic in a black semi-sheer black wraparound and sunhat.

The duo put on an affectionate display as they walked along the beach arm in arm, before enjoying an al fresco lunch.

Joining the star-studded entourage was Calvin Klein, who looked suave in a black t-shirt and white shorts.

And Bruce, who has won 20 Grammys, two Golden Globes, an Academy Award, and was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1999, was soon joined by Noel Gallagher, 50.

And the duo surely had lots of mutual ground to cover, with Noel’s Grammy award-winning rock band Oasis, reaching the Guinness Book of Records in 2010 for the Longest Top 10 UK Chart Run by a Group, and also holding the record for being the most successful act in the UK between the years 1995 and 2005.

Noel cut a casual figure in s white linen shirt and sunglasses as they enjoyed a chat in the sunshine.

Later on Bruce and Patti were seen walking to a boat, before making a glamorous exit from the beach.

His marriage to fellow bandmember, singer and guitarist Patti is his second marriage, having previously been married to Julianne Phillips from 1985-1989.

He and wife Patti, who married in 1991, have three children, Evan, 26, Jessica, 25, and Sam, 23.

At the beginning of the month Bruce announced plans to launch Springsteen on Broadway, which will open on October 12 and see him perform five shows a week through November 26.

Explaining his move after decades of selling out stadiums, he said in a statement: ‘I wanted to do some shows that were as personal and as intimate as possible.

‘I chose Broadway for this project because it has the beautiful old theatres which seemed like the right setting for what I have in mind.’

Noting that the venue for the shows, the 960-seat Walter Kerr Theatre, is ‘probably the smallest venue I’ve played in the last 40 years’, he added: ‘My show is just me, the guitar, the piano and the words and music.

‘Some of the show is spoken, some of it is sung. It loosely follows the arc of my life and my work. All of it together is in pursuit of my constant goal to provide an entertaining evening and to communicate something of value.’
