Epstein Survivor to Trump: Pardon for Maxwell Would Be ‘Devastating’—A Survivor’s Powerful Message
As rumors swirl around the possibility that former President Trump might consider a commutation or pardon for convicted sex trafficker Ghislaine Maxwell, one of Jeffrey Epstein’s survivors is stepping forward with a message that’s reverberating far beyond the White House.

CNN has confirmed that a high-level meeting took place last night in the West Wing, including Attorney General Pam Bondi, FBI Director Cash Patel, Vice President JD Vance, and others. According to insiders, the Epstein case—and next steps for the administration—were central to the conversation.
But according to Annie Farmer, the only Epstein-Maxwell survivor to publicly testify at Maxwell’s 2021 trial under her real name, the people most affected by these high-level discussions are being left out almost entirely: the survivors.
“Every time we see these stories on TV, it has a real cost for us,” Annie said in an emotional interview. “A core part of trauma is a feeling of lack of control. We aren’t given notice about anything that happens—even decisions that change our lives. We often learn about major developments the same time the public does, from news alerts or texts from friends.”
Recently, Annie and other survivors learned through the media that Maxwell had been transferred from a federal prison in Florida to a lower-security camp in Texas. The news—and the secrecy surrounding it—left many feeling angry and exhausted.
“It felt like Maxwell was getting preferential treatment, and the fact that discussions with her, or about pardoning her, might even happen is just disturbing,” Annie said. “Maxwell was convicted by a jury—not just for procuring girls for Epstein, but for participating in the abuse herself.”
Annie didn’t mince words on the possibility of a presidential pardon: “It would be devastating for the victims of Epstein and Maxwell. She is the only person who has ever been held accountable for these crimes. If her sentence were lessened or she were let go, it would send the absolute wrong message—not just to us, but to survivors everywhere.”
The worry isn’t just theoretical. Annie believes Maxwell’s legal team and supporters are trying to “rehabilitate her image”—and that a pardon would not only fail survivors, but break public trust. “The campaign to make Maxwell seem like a victim is not working. People see her for what she really is: a predator, not a victim.”
When asked if Trump or any president should consider a pardon or commutation, Annie’s response was clear: “A pardon would just look like a sign of guilt and cowardice from anyone involved. If the president really wants to prove good faith, he could release more information, open the records, or support full transparency about the case. That’s how you show you don’t have anything to hide—not by letting Maxwell off the hook.”
Annie’s attorney, Jennifer Freeman, echoed her client’s plea for both justice and visibility. “So many survivors feel deeply betrayed by the government and by the political leaders who talk about these cases, but don’t seem to listen to the people who’ve lived through them. This isn’t—and should never be—a partisan issue. This is about protecting children and seeking real justice.”
To many survivors, the most painful part of the Epstein-Maxwell saga has been the lack of transparency and the repeated failures of the justice system to act promptly. Annie’s sister has filed a lawsuit to force the release of the 1996 FBI report that initially detailed her abuse—a report which, if acted on quickly, might have spared countless victims years of trauma.
“Many of my sister’s photos—artwork that Maxwell and Epstein stole years ago—have never been accounted for,” Annie said. “We just want answers. That’s what transparency means to survivors.”
The conversation, Annie stressed, shouldn’t be about rehabilitating the reputations of abusers or scoring political points. “We lose sight of the bigger picture when this becomes partisan. The real issue is abuse of power, and that’s not a political issue. That’s something everyone—on both sides—should care about.”
Annie’s final message to Trump was unwavering: “I hope he understands that this isn’t just about politics or optics—it’s about sending a message to every survivor, every child at risk, about how seriously our leaders take these crimes. If you care about justice, don’t even consider a pardon.”
As the country waits to see if the rumors become reality, survivors like Annie are reminding the world what’s really at stake: not spin or headlines, but the lives, dignity, and healing of those hurt by Epstein, Maxwell, and those who allowed their crimes to go on in secret for so long.
If you or someone you know is a survivor, support is available. This story will continue to be updated as more is learned about Maxwell’s status and the administration’s decisions.
