LOS ANGELES, Calif. — Kim Kardashian is getting candid about her health, stress, and life as a mom during one of the most difficult chapters of her life.

In the Season 7 premiere of The Kardashians on Hulu, the 45-year-old reality star opened up about experiencing a brain aneurysm scare after undergoing an MRI — a discovery she described as “terrifying.”

“There’s like a little aneurysm,” Kim revealed in the teaser for the season. “They said it’s from stress… This week has been the hardest week of my life.”

The episode showcased a vulnerable side of the SKIMS founder, as she navigated mounting stress, resurfacing health issues, and ongoing tension with ex-husband Kanye West.

Health and Stress Struggles

Kim began the episode revealing that her psoriasis had returned — a flare-up she linked directly to stress.

“I felt it coming,” she admitted. “I’ve been super stressed, especially trying to protect my kids. They’re involved now, and that’s a different kind of pressure.”

Despite her usual composure, Kim confessed she doesn’t always know how to cope.

“I don’t know,” she said softly when asked about her coping mechanism. “I really don’t know.”

Co-Parenting and Emotional Turmoil

Much of the premiere centered on Kim’s ongoing efforts to co-parent with Kanye, who has made headlines for his public outbursts.

“When you see the behavior happening, just like everyone else sees it, what’s going through your mind?” a producer asked.

“My poor kids,” Kim replied tearfully. “Everyone else can handle it, but my job is to protect my babies.”

Kim revealed that, at times, she has felt like she was experiencing Stockholm syndrome, explaining how she often felt guilty for wanting to step away.

“I always wanted to help. I always protected. This was the first time I didn’t feel that responsibility. People think I can just walk away — but that’s not my reality. We have four kids together.”

The episode also highlighted how misinformation online worsens her situation.

“It’ll be all over Twitter that I’m keeping the kids, and it’s just not true,” she said. “I can’t engage all the time.”

“It’s a Divorce, Not a Kidnapping”

Kim reflected on her hopes for healthy co-parenting, inspired by her own parents’ example.

“It’s a divorce, not a kidnapping,” she said firmly. “We haven’t left. We’re in the same spot. He knows where his kids are.”

She revealed that she initially encouraged Kanye to be part of their daily routine.

“I said, ‘Have dinner with us every night, take them to school.’ That’s what I saw growing up — the best co-parenting, the healthiest relationships. But that’s not how it worked out.”

While she has accepted that reality, Kim said the cycle of tension can be exhausting.

“It gets quiet, and then you get antsy — like it’s too quiet. It’s gearing up again.”

Finding Strength for Her Kids

In one tender scene, Kim comforted her son Saint, who asked why he didn’t have blue eyes.

“Because you were born with beautiful brown eyes,” she told him gently. “I can’t stress too much. I have to be okay so they can be strong too.”

Family and a Cliffhanger Ending

The premiere closed with the Kardashian-Jenner family gathering — including Rob Kardashian — for a final dinner at their El Dorado house. Just as emotions ran high, the episode ended with a surprise guest arriving to say goodbye.

“I think one person that isn’t here should be here to say goodbye with us,” Kris Jenner teased as the door opened.

The scene ended on a dramatic cliffhanger, setting up what promises to be one of the most emotional seasons yet.
