Ariel Fulmer Speaks Out: “I Haven’t Forgiven Ned” Three Years After Cheating Scandal
It’s been three years since the scandal that rocked the internet and ended Ned Fulmer’s run as a Try Guy. Now, Ned and his estranged wife, Ariel, are breaking their silence together for the first time.
In the debut episode of Ned’s new podcast, Rock Bottom, which premiered on YouTube September 17, the couple sat down for a raw and emotional conversation about life after betrayal, co-parenting, and the complicated reality of moving forward.

“Of course, I’m still angry. We lost a lot there,” Ariel admitted, recalling how she discovered Ned’s affair with an employee through fans online. “Somebody sent me a picture, and at first I didn’t even understand what I was looking at. I thought it was his sister. When it clicked, I was blindsided. My brain couldn’t compute it.”
When asked if she has forgiven Ned, Ariel’s answer was blunt:
“Absolutely not. How can you forgive somebody for lying to you, for cheating on you? No. Forgiveness isn’t the goal at this point.”
Instead, Ariel says her focus is on creating stability for their two young children. “The fact that I can be around you, enjoy spending time with you, and enjoy spending time with the kids—I think that’s a win,” she told Ned.

The pair also confirmed they remain separated and are both dating other people. “We really haven’t been [a couple] at all these last three years,” Ned admitted. “There were moments we kind of tried, but no, we haven’t.”
Despite the heartbreak, Ariel emphasized that their connection isn’t gone—it’s just transformed. “We’re still friends. We have children together. We go on trips together. There are ways in which we’re together, but not as a couple.”

For fans who watched the Fulmers’ seemingly perfect marriage unfold across years of YouTube videos and podcasts, this new chapter is a stark reminder of the messy, complicated work of rebuilding after betrayal. Ariel may not have forgiven Ned, but she has chosen something else: acceptance of a new reality, and a commitment to finding joy where she can.
