Eminem and Kid Rock did not launch a charity in honor of Charlie Kirk — the viral ‘tribute’ post is false, and people should be cautious about believing or sharing such misinformation.

Fake posts claim Eminem & Kid Rock launched a Charlie Kirk charity and tribute track, but no such collaboration or tribute has been confirmed.

Since the high-profile assassination of conservative activist Charlie Kirk on Friday, lot of fake news about his death are circulating. One such viral post concerns Eminem and Kid Rock supposedly putting aside their differences and launching a charity for Kirk that will “promote debate.” Some posts also claimed that Eminem composed a track in Kirk’s memory.

However, HT.com can confirm that rappers Eminem and Kid Rock have announced no such collaboration. Not has Eminem released a track paying tribute to Charlie Kirk.

Eminem and Kid Rock on Charlie Kirk: Fact Check

It all started with a post on the Facebook page RAP Devotees. According to the Readers’ Added Context section underneath an X post with the false claim, the page is operated from Pakistan and Vietnam.

The post read: “Eminem and Kid Rock shocked the world when they buried their political differences to launch a charity in Charlie Kirk’s name, called ‘Charlie Kirk: From Debate to Great.” The foundation will fund and organize debate events at universities across the country—carrying forward the mission Kirk never got to finish.”

The post also included supposed speech by Eminem that read: ““Our political views are different, but when you look at the common ground, Kirk was a huge inspiration to young people. More than that, he was a good father and a good husband.”
