Jasmine Crockett Exposes Trump Admin Corruption: ‘This Administration is Panicking’
📰 The Unwritten Blog: The Constitutional Comedy and the Lawless Presidency
The political theater of the past week has delivered two equally stunning, yet distinct, indictments of leadership and governance. What started with the revelation of raw, explicit political bias within the highest ranks of federal law enforcement quickly devolved into a broader, judgmental condemnation of a system seemingly set aside for political gain.
The Stain of Bias: “We Will Stop It”
The first shocking reveal came from the congressional transcript exposing the explicit contempt held by former top FBI officials Peter Strzok and Lisa Page. These were not low-level agents, but senior decision-makers “naval deep” in investigations that targeted a sitting President and his political campaign. Their private communications, laid bare for the public, move far beyond merely having a political opinion; they document a promise to subvert the democratic process.
Page called the future President “an enormous douche” and a “loathsome human” who “simply cannot be president.” Strzok, the more chilling of the two, declared that the opposing candidate “should win 100 million and nothing” before issuing the ultimate political threat in August 2016: “No. No, he won’t. We will stop it.“
This is an outright confession of intent to weaponize federal power. When questioned on why these individuals were not immediately fired, the defense offered by former top official Rod Rosenstein was flimsy, suggesting that because “dozens perhaps scores” of others were involved, throwing out the investigation was impossible. This excuse only expands the perceived scandal, confirming that the rot may have been systemic rather than isolated.
The Constitutional Disregard and The Corrupt Agenda
Rosenstein’s subsequent performance during his testimony further compounded the sense of institutional failure. When asked fundamental questions about the nation’s founding document, such as the purpose of Article V or Article II of the Constitution, he confessed that the answers were “not coming to mind at the moment.” This breathtaking public display of ignorance from a former high-ranking official—one who oversaw investigations of immense national consequence—is in itself an indictment of the standards of governance. It is impossible to fiercely defend a Constitution you cannot even cite.
This scene of incompetence was followed by a scathing address from Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett, who used the moment to deliver a broader judgment on what she termed the “lawless presidency” and the complicity of Congressional Republicans. Her testimony amassed an extraordinary catalog of alleged corruption and ethical failure, arguing that Republicans have traded their constitutional duty for “fealty to the president.”
She cited multiple federal court rulings, even those from Republican-appointed judges, characterizing the administration’s conduct as “lawless” and driven by an effort to “set aside the rule of law in pursuit of its own goals.”
Her evidence included the bizarre political theatre surrounding the Jeffrey Epstein files, the alleged pay-for-play scheme involving former Secretary of Homeland Security Kristi Noem and millions in taxpayer funds, and the claim that former “Border Czar” Tom Homan was caught accepting a $50,000 cash bribe, only for the investigation to be “killed” by the Department of Justice.
Crockett finished with a final condemnation of the alleged hypocrisy in governance, stating that while the administration and its allies talk endlessly of “law and order,” their proposed budget cuts to the FBI and ATF, along with the elimination of community violence grants, demonstrate they are effectively “defunding the police” and neglecting the true victims of crime in favor of protecting political allies.
The transcripts from these hearings reveal a dangerous two-pronged problem: a senior law enforcement apparatus compromised by a political vendetta, and a top-tier political class exhibiting both constitutional ignorance and a pervasive culture of corruption.
