NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Isabelle Tate, a rising television actress who recently made her debut on 9-1-1: Nashville, has died at just 23 years old.
The heartbreaking news was confirmed in an online obituary, stating that Isabelle passed away on October 19. No official cause of death has been publicly released.
In 2022, Isabelle shared on Instagram that she had been living with a progressive neuromuscular disease that weakened her leg muscles and eventually required her to use a wheelchair.
Her family’s obituary noted that memorial contributions may be made to the Charcot-Marie-Tooth Association, an organization dedicated to supporting research for the hereditary sensory and motor neuropathy known as Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease. According to the Mayo Clinic, the condition causes nerve damage that leads to smaller and weaker muscles over time.

“Isabelle was full of fire — a fighter — never once making excuses for her disability,” her obituary read. “She brought warmth, humor, and a deep love for animals and songwriting into everything she did.”
Tate shared her final Instagram post in January, nearly nine months before her small-screen debut on the October 9 premiere of 9-1-1: Nashville, where she appeared alongside stars Chris O’Donnell, Jessica Capshaw, LeAnn Rimes, and Kimberly Williams-Paisley.

Her talent agency, McCrae Talent, released a statement mourning her loss:
“Isabelle was an incredible young woman with limitless potential. 9-1-1: Nashville was the first major show she ever auditioned for — and she had a wonderful time bringing her character to life. She will be deeply missed.”
Isabelle is survived by her mother, father, stepfather, and sister.
