Archie & Lilibet Join Meghan Markle and Prince Harry in Preparing Thanksgiving Meals
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry are giving their children a heartfelt lesson about compassion and community service this holiday season.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex recently teamed up with Our Big Kitchen Los Angeles, a community-run nonprofit that prepares high-quality meals for Angelenos facing hardship. And this time, they brought along two very special helpers: Prince Archie and Princess Lilibet.
According to photos shared on the couple’s Archewell Foundation website, the young royals were spotted peeking over their parents’ shoulders as they helped prepare cookies for Thanksgiving. In one adorable moment, Prince Harry is seen scooping vegetables while Meghan smiles proudly beside him. Meghan later posted a short video of the finished meals on her Instagram Story, adding the message: “Show up, do good.”

The family’s holiday spirit doesn’t stop there. Earlier this month, fans were delighted to see the sweet letters Archie and Lilibet wrote to Santa Claus, featured in the trailer for With Love, Meghan, the Duchess’s upcoming holiday special. While the full letters weren’t shown, parts of the message—written in Meghan’s elegant calligraphy—read:
“Santa, we have been good and travel safely.”
Signed: “Xo, Archie and Lili.”
The trailer also included another touching detail: Archie and Lilibet’s names appeared as Meghan crafted homemade advent calendars, offering a glimpse into the family’s festive traditions.
The holiday special, created for Netflix, highlights the joys of connection, celebration, and meaningful traditions. Prince Harry even makes a cheerful cameo, sharing a light-hearted moment with Meghan as they decorate and prepare for the season.
From community service to crafting advent calendars, it’s clear the Sussex family is fully embracing the warmth and generosity of the holidays—while teaching their children the true spirit of giving.
