Bradley Cooper is setting the record straight — well, sort of.

In a recent interview promoting his latest project with longtime friend Will Arnett, the Oscar-nominated actor and director opened up about working with close friends, the emotional meaning behind their bond, and those persistent rumors linking him to the upcoming Ocean’s Eleven prequel alongside Margot Robbie.

When asked directly if he was joining the stylish heist franchise, Cooper smiled coyly.

“Let’s see… yeah,” he said with a laugh, before adding, “I mean, I love everything that Margot and her husband Tom [Ackerley] do as a producing team. Their work ethic is amazing. For me to get an opportunity to work with them and her would be incredible.”

While that’s not exactly a confirmation, it certainly didn’t sound like a denial — fueling even more speculation that Cooper could be joining Robbie and Ryan Gosling, who are already attached to the film.

The actor also shared insight into his creative process and how personal connections influence his work.

“I’ve known Will for so many years. He’s always been the funniest guy in any room,” Cooper said. “This project felt like something where I could help him craft something special. And for Laura [Dern] to come aboard — it was just magic. You’re surrounded by people who know all of you, and that makes the work deeper.”

The two friends’ bond goes back decades, and Cooper described it as “the mosaic of our friendship.”

“People come into your life at certain points,” he explained. “You don’t realize at the time how meaningful that connection will become. We’ve been through so much together, and it’s all part of that mosaic.”

The actor also playfully discussed his beloved dogs — Charlie and Lucy — who appear in his latest film.

“Charlie is actually a pro,” Cooper laughed. “He was in A Star Is Born and won best animal performance that year. He knows how to find his light.”

As for Halloween, Cooper revealed that his daughter Lea has full creative control.

“She’s the boss,” he admitted. “She listens to input but makes the final decision. Last year I had to dress up as our dog Peanut — I actually found a costume that looked just like him.”
