It was a heartwarming night on Dancing With the Stars as Dylan Efron and his younger sister Olivia stole the show — not just with their performance, but with their undeniable bond. The siblings earned the highest score of the night, but for Dylan, the real victory was something much deeper than numbers on a scoreboard.
“It was all Olivia,” Dylan said with a grin, pointing to his little sister after the judges’ rave reviews. “Those nines were for her.”
The brother-sister duo took the stage with an emotional, joy-filled dance that celebrated family, resilience, and love — something Dylan admitted he’d been waiting all season to share.

“This is my favorite week,” he said. “I really wanted to make it to this point, and it was everything I thought it would be. Watching Olivia’s confidence grow — that’s everything to me.”
A Family That Dances (and Learns) Together
When asked what it meant to share such a big stage with his sister, Dylan’s answer was simple — it was “really special.”
“We worked hard on that lift,” he laughed. “At first it didn’t work out, and I’ve dislocated my shoulder so many times that we said, ‘No way.’ But then we just trusted the process. And we got there.”
That spirit of trust and perseverance runs deep in the Efron family — something Dylan credits his famous older brother, Zac Efron, for teaching him.
The Lesson from Zac Efron
When asked what lessons Zac passed down that he now shares with Olivia, Dylan didn’t hesitate:
“He’s taught me so many things,” Dylan said thoughtfully. “But if I had to boil it down to one, it’s that he’s always been there for me. That’s the biggest thing. No matter what — he’s there.”
The Greatest Showman star and his younger brother have long shared a close relationship, often seen adventuring together or cheering each other on. Now, that same sense of encouragement is something Dylan is passing down to Olivia.
“Confidence,” Dylan said with pride. “That’s what I want her to have. I see it growing in her every week.”
Becoming a Dancer — and Believing It
Even with the night’s top score, Dylan admitted that it’s taken time to see himself as a real dancer.
“I always felt like an imposter,” he confessed. “But now I’m starting to have confidence that we can actually do this.”
The judges seemed to agree, telling Dylan he had “truly become a dancer” that night — a moment that left him both humbled and inspired.
A Bright Future for Olivia
As for Olivia, when asked if she might one day follow in her brother’s footsteps and compete on Dancing With the Stars, her answer came with an eager smile and a confident “Yeah.”
With a brother like Dylan — and an uncle like Zac — cheering her on, it’s safe to say the Efron family legacy of charm, talent, and heart is in good hands.
