HOLLYWOOD, Calif. — George Clooney is giving fans a glimpse into the future of the Ocean’s franchise — and it sounds like big things are coming.

During a recent interview, Clooney confirmed that Ocean’s 14 is officially in the works, while also reacting to buzz around a prequel film starring Margot Robbie and Bradley Cooper as his character’s parents.

“We’re finding a date for everybody to get to work,” Clooney shared. “It’s scheduling now, but we’ll get there.”

While Clooney won’t be directly involved in the prequel, he was all smiles discussing the casting news.

“Margot and Bradley are doing the prequel — they’re playing my parents,” he joked. “I don’t know much about that one. It’s a different production and team, but it sounds fantastic.”

Working with Adam Sandler and Friendship Off-Camera

Clooney also opened up about working with longtime friend Adam Sandler on their latest project.

“It’s fun because I get to share all this experience with Adam — who’s a really good friend — and Noah, who’s an extraordinary director,” Clooney said. “I just get to go for the ride.”

The pair’s friendship goes back years, with Clooney recalling old SNL memories and pickup basketball games.

“He used to come over for dinner,” Clooney smiled. “Now it was fun to get the chance to work with him again.”

And when asked who the “best Batman” was, Clooney laughed:

“Everybody knows it’s me,” he quipped.

Italian Adventures

Filming in Italy added another layer of joy for Clooney, who’s known for his love of the country.

“We weren’t really around Lake Como this time — we were further south, in little towns like Pienza and Zabello,” he explained. “I’ve been through those places for years on my motorcycle. I knew all the old restaurants and farmhouses, so I took everyone around. It was fun.”

‘Ocean’s’ Legacy Continues

With Clooney leading the charge for Ocean’s 14 and Margot Robbie’s prequel in the works, the franchise’s future looks brighter than ever.

“Bradley’s a friend and just extraordinary,” Clooney said. “And Margot — what an incredible career at such a young age.”

A Baseball Fan and Dad First

Clooney, an avid sports fan, also weighed in on baseball’s biggest storylines — from Shohei Ohtani’s record-breaking games to his loyalty to the Cincinnati Reds.

“I’m a Reds fan, so rooting for the Dodgers cuts me a little in the heart,” he admitted. “But I still do it — I’m a National League guy.”
