After taking home the grand prize on Love Island Games, winners Lucinda Strafford and Isaiah Campbell sat down to talk about their unexpected victory, the $250,000 twist, and what’s really going on between them now that the cameras have stopped rolling.

“We Didn’t Expect to Win”
It’s been just days since the finale aired, and both Lucinda and Isaiah are still processing the whirlwind.
“Honestly, I feel blessed, confused, overwhelmed — but mostly grateful,” Isaiah admitted. “Walking into the villa, you don’t think you’ll make it that far, let alone win. But Lucinda and I pulled it off.”
Lucinda, who joined the competition later in the season, was equally shocked.
“I didn’t think I’d last a few days in that villa,” she laughed. “The fact that I won still feels like a dream. I definitely wouldn’t have made it without Zay. I started getting good at challenges only after we coupled up.”
Both agreed that their connection gave them an edge. “When you’re in a romantic couple, it changes everything,” Lucinda explained. “You naturally want to support each other more — that’s what made the difference.”
The $250,000 Question
At the finale, viewers held their breath as Isaiah had to decide whether to split or steal the prize money.
Was Lucinda nervous?
“Not really,” she said. “I was 99.9% sure he’d split it. He played up the suspense a bit, but I trusted him.”
Isaiah laughed, admitting,
“That was the one time I played for the cameras.”
Ultimately, the pair shared the winnings — walking away with $125,000 each. Lucinda said she’s already putting the money to good use:
“I just bought a house, so this helped a lot. And I love traveling, so I’ll probably use some of it for trips.”
Isaiah plans to invest and treat his loved ones.
“I want to spoil my family, invest in myself, maybe set up a streaming studio. I’ll save some too — definitely not putting it all in one place.”
Where Do They Stand Now?
Of course, the question everyone wants answered: are they still together?
“We’re taking it slow,” Lucinda said. “It’s been busy since the show ended, but we’ve spent as much time together as we can. The connection was real, so we’ll see where it goes.”
Isaiah agreed, describing their relationship as “a growing connection.”
“We’ve only known each other for about two and a half weeks. It feels like months in the villa, but we’re just taking things one day at a time.”
When asked whether they’d appear on Love Island again, Lucinda was quick to respond:
“No — I’ve done three already! That feels like enough.”
Isaiah laughed and added,
“I wouldn’t say no completely, but I’d definitely have a target on my back next time.”
No Regrets — Just Gratitude
Both stars say they wouldn’t change a thing about their Love Island Games journey.
“I was unapologetically myself, and it worked out — I won!” Lucinda said. “If you overthink everything, you ruin the fun.”
Isaiah agreed, joking that if he returned, he might “have a little more backbone” when it came to alliances — but admits that staying neutral worked in his favor.
“People said I was on the fence,” he laughed. “But hey, it worked out, didn’t it?”
