Fans were left in shock when pop icon Mariah Carey made a surprise appearance on streamer Kai Cenat’s livestream to unveil the cover of her highly anticipated new album.

During the lively Tuesday night broadcast, Mariah dropped the big reveal — the album art for Here for It All, which will officially arrive on September 26. The project marks her 16th studio album and her first full-length release since 2018’s Caution.

Chatting with Cenat, Mariah admitted that even after decades in the industry, there’s still a mix of nerves and excitement before sharing new music with the world:

“I don’t really get nervous anymore, but then again, I kind of know that I’m a little bit nervous. Especially when meeting with people and thinking about how to explain why I wrote or recorded a song a certain way.”

Back on August 28, Carey teased fans with the official tracklist on Instagram. The upcoming record is already generating buzz thanks to its two lead singles, “Type Dangerous” and “Sugar Sweet.”

This isn’t Mariah’s first livestream cameo. In April, she and daughter Monroe hilariously popped in on her son Moroccan’s Twitch broadcast, leaving the 13-year-old visibly embarrassed as viewers flooded the chat with greetings for his superstar mom.

With Here for It All, Mariah Carey is set to deliver a new chapter in her legendary career — one that longtime fans and new listeners alike have been waiting years to hear.
