See Martha Stewart Give Drew Barrymore the Ultimate Thirst Trap Tutorial
Martha Stewart is reminding everyone that confidence — and a perfect camera angle — never go out of style.
During her September 29th appearance on The Drew Barrymore Show, the 84-year-old lifestyle icon gave Drew a hands-on lesson in capturing the ultimate thirst trap selfie. And, unsurprisingly, she nailed it.

“Position Yourself Beautifully and Up Higher”
As the two posed together, Stewart guided Drew through her secret selfie techniques — from body positioning to facial angles.
“Position yourself beautifully and up higher,” Martha instructed, gently adjusting Drew’s stance.
“See? Already you look better. Look!”
Barrymore, watching the camera preview, couldn’t help but laugh in amazement:
“I really do, by the way,” she said, before Martha reminded her, “Always go down your face, elongate your neck — and your lips a little bit.”

When they snapped the final shot, Drew gasped, “That’s hot. Martha!”
The audience agreed — the duo’s playful chemistry lit up the studio.
The Queen of Thirst Traps
Of course, this isn’t Martha’s first viral moment. The bestselling author and business mogul has mastered the art of the sultry selfie in recent years.
Back in 2020, she broke the internet with a poolside thirst trap that became an instant meme — and she followed it up in 2023 with another glamorous shot wearing a satin nightgown and robe.
When Drew jokingly asked if Martha would ever pose like her in a selfie, Stewart laughed, “No,” adding warmly, “She’s a very good student — that’s why I love coming on this show.”
No, There’s No Feud Here
The two also cleared up a funny viral misunderstanding from a past interview, when Martha playfully pushed Drew away on live TV after being petted.
“People thought you had beef with me over that!” Drew said, laughing.
“Oh, I just don’t like to be petted on television,” Martha replied matter-of-factly, adding, “I watch your show, and you pet a lot of people.”
Drew burst out laughing, admitting, “I do! I’m a cozy girl.”
Martha smiled: “I’m not so cozy.”
A Lesson in Confidence and Class
By the end of their chat, Barrymore summed up what fans love most about Martha Stewart: her effortless confidence and unapologetic authenticity.
“You’ve given people a lot of confidence in life through staying true to yourself,” Drew said. “That’s been such a guiding light for us.”
Stewart’s advice, as always, was simple — know your angles, lift your chin, and never apologize for owning your moment.
