Kristen Bell is back and better than ever! The beloved actress sat down to chat about The Good Place star’s latest project and her excitement for season two of her hit show — plus, the adorable (and hilarious) reaction her kids had to her red-carpet look.

When asked what she’s most excited for fans to see this season, Kristen smiled and said she just hopes people “get more of what they love.”

Will Kristen Bell Return as Voice of "Gossip Girl"?

“I think that’s the goal of the show,” she shared. “People have said they enjoy watching it as a nice release at the end of the day — something that helps them escape and root for these characters. So going into the second season, we said, ‘Let’s give them more of what they want.’ We didn’t take any crazy turns; we just leaned into what works. And I’m really happy with how it turned out.”

Of course, Kristen’s on-screen fashion — especially her character Joanne’s iconic looks — is another thing fans can’t get enough of.

“There are so many looks this season that I absolutely love,” she gushed. “Our costume designer, Nagar, is just off-the-charts creative. I’m basically just playing Joanne inside the beautiful skins she creates.”

Speaking of fashion, Kristen turned heads on the red carpet in a stunning Alex Perry gown — but her kids weren’t exactly fans.

“My kids told me it was too sexy to wear out of the house,” she laughed. “They said, ‘You can’t wear that!’ And I was like, ‘Watch me. Watch this.’”

The actress joked that she even matched the event’s color theme perfectly: “I love a theme! Give me rules and I’ll follow them — I’m all in!”

During the chat, Kristen also reflected on her early days in Hollywood, including working with Gossip Girl star Leighton Meester on Veronica Mars.

“Oh my gosh, look at our baby faces,” she laughed after seeing an old photo. “We were just so young! She was so good in that episode — I remember being really impressed by her.”

The conversation took a fun turn when the topic of her husband, actor Dax Shepard, came up — specifically, a playful campaign to name him People’s Sexiest Man Alive.

“I am the CEO of that campaign,” Kristen joked. “Here’s a better question — show me a reason why he shouldn’t be!”

As the interview wrapped up, Kristen opened up about the real-life friendships behind the show’s cast.

“This cast feels like people who would be or are friends in real life,” she said warmly. “A lot of us have relationships outside the show, and when we get back together, it feels like seeing family.”

She even shared a story about a six-week prank her co-star Justine pulled on her — a prank Kristen now calls an act of love.

“She worked on it for six weeks! That’s dedication,” Kristen said, laughing. “My husband called it her love language. I’ve never felt more loved.”

When asked if she’s planning revenge, Kristen grinned:

“Not yet — I need to come up with the perfect idea first. It has to be worth it!”

And with that, she headed off to celebrate the new season — proving once again that no one does smart, funny, and fearless quite like Kristen Bell.
